Nature house in Oignies-en-Thiérache

A beautiful, spacious, clean house with wonderful beds! There are two patios, one in front and one behind the house, so there’s always a nice shady spot when the weather is warm.
Communication with the owner went very smoothly as well.

Mooi groot schoon huis met heerlijke bedden! 2 terrassen voor en achter het huis zodat er altijd bij warm weer een heerlijk schaduwplek is.
Ook het contact met de eigenaresse verliep heel soepel.

Beautiful hiking trails, and the house was in a quiet spot. It was wonderful to be in the woods, which was especially nice given the heat. In the evening, we even had a visit from a wild boar—what a great experience! If you walk down the path, you’ll come right to the stream—fun for the kids, but also perfect for an evening stroll!

Mooie wandelroutes, huis stond ook op een rustig plek. Heerlijk in het bos wat heel fijn was met de warmte. Savonds kregen we ook bezoek van een zwijn, Mooie ervaring! Als je het pad naar beneden loopt kom je gelijk bij de beek, leuk voor de kind maar ook heerlijk voor een avondwandeling!

Beautiful house. We just wouldn't go for one week anymore, but for two weeks with our family.
On the middle floor, where the kitchen and living area are located, there are no stair gates on either staircase.
Because of this, we had to block off the stairs the whole time to prevent our 1-year-old from going up or down them.
Outside, there was a railing on the balcony, so it was safe for the little one.

Prachtig huis. We zouden alleen niet meer voor 1 week gaan maar voor 2 weken met een gezin.
Op de midden verdieping waar de keuken en leefruimte is, is bij beide trappen geen traphekje.
Daardoor moesten we de hele tijd spullen voor zetten, zodat de kleine van 1 jaar niet de trap op of af gaat.
Buiten was er bij het balkon wel een hekje waardoor het veilig was voor de kleine.

Beautiful house, very well laid out. In terms of peace and quiet, it was quite close to another house, so you have less privacy when sitting on the balcony.
It takes a little getting used to how noisy it is because everything is made of wood.
The nature there is beautiful!

Prachtig huis, heel overzichtelijk. Qua rust zat er best dichtbij een ander huis, waardoor je als je op balkon zit minder privacy hebt.
Eerst even wennen zo gehorig als het is omdat alles van hout is.
De natuur is prachtig daar!

We enjoyed staying in it very much, space enough everyone. It is listed after several cottages at this park to go to again.

Wij hebben er met heel veel plezier in vertoeft, ruimte genoeg iedereen.
Het staat na meerdere huisjes op dit park genoteerd om nogmaals naartoe te gaan.

It is a big house in the middle of the woods, when it is dark you can see all the stars because there is no light pollution. The fireplace stove inside is top and makes it warm and cozy. The kitchen is complete and you can easily prepare a meal, the refrigerator is in need of replacement. The beds are good, I slept great because you can completely close everything!

Het is een groot huis wat midden in de bossen ligt, als het donker is zie je alle sterren want er is geen licht ervuiling. De openhaard kachel binnen is top en maakt het warm en gezellig.
De keuken is compleet en kun je makkelijk een maaltijd in bereiden, de koelkast is wel aan vervanging toe.
De bedden zijn goed, ik heb heerlijk geslapen want je kunt alles helemaal afsluiten!
