Nature house in Bossus-Les Rummigny

Tastefully decorated, a nice kitchen with good cookware and tableware (which is sometimes lacking), comfortable beds, and a bathroom with a shower and a tub.
If we were to offer one suggestion, higher water pressure would be just a little nicer, especially for the shower. But that was really just a minor detail in the grand scheme of things.

Smaakvol ingericht, prettige keuken met goed kookgerei en servies (daar ontbreekt het nog weleens aan), lekkere bedden, en een badkamer met douche en bad.
Mochten we toch een tip willen geven dan zou een hogere waterdruk nog net iets fijner zijn voor met name de douche. Maar dat was echt een klein puntje in het geheel

The cottage was situated on a very large and beautiful piece of land, with all kinds of nooks and crannies to sit, play, and relax. With features including a lovely large pool, a trampoline, a swing, and a hammock, it was a little paradise for a family with young children. Lots of privacy and a nice, secluded location. It’s close to a lovely sandy beach at Etang de la Motte, where you can rent pedal boats and canoes. It’s small-scale and not crowded. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and quiet!

Het huisje stond op een heel erg groot en mooi stukje grond, met allerlei hoekjes om lekker te zitten, spelen en te ontspannen. Met oa een mooi groot zwembad, een trampoline, schommel en hangmat een klein paradijsje voor een gezin met jonge kinderen. Veel privacy en lekker in the middle of nowhere. Dichtbij een heel fijn zandstrand etang de la motte met verhuur van waterfietsen en kano’s. Kleinschalig en niet druk. Echt een aanrader voor de rustzoeker!

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. For half the time, there were four of us adults, and there was more than enough space!
Because of the very hot weather, we were able to really enjoy the pool—it was wonderful.

The “wild garden” was also wonderful—both for the view from the terrace and for taking a quick stroll through it.
The little lake has dried up by about half now. There are two coypu living in it (as far as we could tell).
There were also some great bakeries not too far away, which was convenient.

The walk at Lac des Vieilles Forges was nice, and a visit to St. Michel Abbey is also worth considering.

In short, a wonderful vacation that went by way too fast.

We hebben met veel plezier in het huis verbleven. We waren de helft van de tijd met 4 volwassenen en dat was ruim zat!
Vanwege het hele warme weer hebben we enorm kunnen genieten van het zwembad, heerlijk.

Ook de "wilde tuin" was geweldig, gewoon qua uitzicht als je op het terras zat, of om even doorheen te lopen.
Het meertje is nu wel voor de helft opgedroogd. Er wonen 2 beverratten in (voor zover we konden zien).
Verder lekkere bakkers op niet al te lange afstand, dat was handig.

Wandeling bij lac les vieilles forges was leuk en ook een bezoekje aan de abdij St. Michel is het overwegen waard.

Kortom een fijne vakantie die veel te snel voorbij was.

Beautiful "mill" house, equipped with every comfort and more spacious than the pictures make you think. Good beds, comfortable sofa (and nice wood stove) and excellent sanitary facilities. Beautiful sloping garden all around, tranquility agreed and shared by the birds (the chiffchaff!) and a warm and smooth contact with the owner.

Prachtig "molen"huis, van alle comfort voorzien en ruimer dan de foto's doen denken. Goede bedden, comfortabele zetel (en leuke houtstoof) en prima sanitair. Prachtige glooiende tuin rondom, rust die door de vogeltjes (de tjiftjaf!) beaamd en gedeeld wordt en een warm en vlot contact met de eigenaar.
