Nature house in Axel

In a beautiful nature reserve in Zeeland Flanders lies this farm. In the large barn is a spacious apartment made suitable for 4 adults. The nature house is fully equipped, bathroom with shower and sink and a separate toilet with extra sink. The kitchen is fully equipped. A dishwasher, induction hob, microwave, Senseo and fridge / freezer. There is a large dining table with 4 chairs. There are 2 separate bedrooms. You come home to a house with made beds. Near the apartment is a large terrace, cozily decorated with a sofa and a large dining table with chairs. Nearby you can pick up a delicious breakfast from the local bakery and caterer. The farm (2 Ha.) is surrounded by a nature reserve (20 Ha.) where nature is abundant. Your predecessors have already spotted burling deer and the (heavily protected) crested newt. Also the nuthatch and the green and spotted woodpecker are at home here.

Behind the apartment is a small forest with hiking trails and 200 meters walk the Boschkreek. You stay in nature, but if you want to get out there are also plenty of opportunities. In our beautiful Zealand Flanders are several bicycle routes, 3 of which run along the farm. Within cycling distance are the cities of Terneuzen (the city of the Flying Dutchman) and Hulst (the city of Reinaert the Fox) with several good restaurants. Half an hour's drive away are the cities of Ghent, Bruges and the world port city of Antwerp. Here you can do fantastic shopping and spend time on delicious terraces. At a 20 km drive you will find the Drowned Land of Saeftinghe. A 3500 ha. nature reserve. Just across the border in Belgium is the Verbeke Foundation an indoor/outdoor museum with moving exhibits and projects. The cities of Middelburg, Vlissingen and Goes are nearby via the Westerschelde tunnel.
