Our nature house in Saleix in the Correze department, is located in the countryside and stands on 3000m2 of private land. The house is characteristic and is cozy and comfortably furnished. In summer it is cool inside because of the robust walls. Attached to the house is a spacious veranda where you can sit in the shade. There is ample parking in the yard. From the terrace of the house you have a beautiful view of the valley.

The area is ideally suited for hikers and nature lovers, but there is also plenty to see for culture lovers. For example, a few kilometers away are the Ruins de Merle and a reconstructed medieval village near St.Privat . It is a rural and hilly area where Limousin cows graze. A few kilometers from our house there are possibilities for horseback riding. At 4 km is the village of St.Privat with amenities such as bakery, supermarket, bank, pharmacy and restaurants. The nearest larger towns are Brive, Tulle and Aurillac. Further away are the tourist towns of Bergerac, Sarlat, Limoges and Bordeaux. At 20 min. Drive away is the picturesque town of Argentat where, among other things, you can canoe in the Dordogne River. At 10 minutes is Lac de Feyt, a public lake where swimming is possible. Furthermore, in the area are many local markets including brocantes.
