Welcome to Beauloup, our nature house in Trou de Bra (Lierneux), province of Liège. In the region known as "Le Petit Château", the cottage is secluded on the edge of the forest - perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. Inside you will find a spacious living and dining room with fireplace, a kitchen with forest view, four bedrooms (incl. mezzanine and tower room, max 8 adults and 1 child, ideally 6 adults and 3 child) and two renovated bathrooms. Outside there is a terrace, bbq and petanque court. Please note that there is no wifi in the cottage. For many this appears to be a relief: a real escape from the hustle and bustle, go offline and enjoy nature and each other. In low season we rent by the weekend (Fri-Sun), midweek (Mon-Fri) or week (Fri-Fri). During BE/NL school vacations only per week. Deviations request via messages. Nature and surroundings
From the garden you can walk straight into the forest. At dawn or dusk there is a good chance of seeing game: roe deer, wild boar, foxes, or with luck even a deer. During hunting season there is hunting in the surrounding forests - so pay attention to the warning signs with dates. In the garden also live vipers, toads and fire salamanders. The latter are rare and protected, and we are glad they feel at home here. If you see one: let it crawl on quietly - they are totally harmless. At the moment there is also a buzzard's nest nearby. It is a beautiful sight to see this impressive bird of prey circling above the cottage.

The cottage was very cozy, nicer than we expected. It feels like a fairy house in a fairy forest. You had everything you needed, just some rooms a little small so with a group of girls with 100 kilos of luggage you sometimes had little space. But super cozy, cozy, quiet, privacy, well equipped bathroom and kitchen, nice and spacious living room and the heating worked well. As others have said we only had range outside the cottage, but we survived that. We really had, a super nice stay.
