At this nature house you experience the Veluwe at its best, with a little luck you spot the red deer here on our own land. Horses you see zowiezo. You have your own outside with a fireplace, wood is plenty. The Old Barn is a nice old-fashioned decorated 4 person cottage in an old barn with a fantastic view. The cottage has a kitchenette, bathroom, sitting area and dining area downstairs. Upstairs is a large sleeping loft with a king-size double bed and two single beds (2m long 90cm wide). Unfortunately, due to circumstances, it is temporarily not possible to use our breakfast service.

Kootwijk is located in the middle of nature, after 500 meters walk you are on the Kootwijkerzand, a breathtaking shifting sand area. The most beautiful walks start at the front door. The village is fenced to keep the wild boars outside the village, the red deer on the other hand come over the fence, our meadows are a permanent grazing place for these nocturnal visitors. You can cook for yourself in the cottage but nice restaurants are already within walking distance.
