Nature house in Le Lindois

This nature house is part of a beautifully converted hay barn, offering quality accommodation for 4-5 people with a southern view across the Charente countryside.The haybarn consists of two separate, independent self-catering gites alongside each other. Shared large garden with plenty of room for children to play. There is much to do on site with a large shared heated swimming pool to relax in the summer months, a gym and sauna (small charge) or just a perfect place to explore the local attractions and activities, including water sports and the beach on the nearby lake. This natural cottage offers quality accommodation while maintaining the natural French rustic charm. The King-size and a bedroom with two single beds comfortably accommodate 4 people and all bedrooms have exposed beams and partially visible stone walls. We live on site and are available if you have any questions or need any help with directions, recommendations for places to visit, restaurants and bars or anything else.

Rural location, surrounded by farmland with views over the Charente countryside. The house is just outside the quiet hamlet of Le Lindois, in a great location and is served by excellent restaurants (nearest 5-10 minute drive) and there are lots of other interesting activities to keep everyone happy. The quaint market town of La Rochefoucauld with its own castle is only a 10-minute drive away, with a large supermarket, restaurants and shops and the historic city of Angoulême, the capital of the Charente, just a further 15 minutes away. If you would like to venture out and about, this lovely holiday cottage is situated in the south of the Poitou-Charente region. With beautiful lakes and sandy lake beaches such as the Lakes of Lavaud and Mas Chaban nearby – it’s a great place to take the kids with play areas and lots to do, including the tree top adventure parc at Massignac (10 minutes drive away).
