Our charming nature house is situated on a south-facing slope in a small valley with stunning views. From the terrace, you can look out over meadows, mountains, and a few farms. It’s an old farmhouse with an authentic feel but equipped with modern luxuries. There is a cozy living room and kitchen-diner with a wood stove. From the kitchen, a door leads to the large terrace, where you can relax in either the sun or the shade. The cottage is less suitable for small children due to limited outdoor play space. On the ground floor are the toilet and the bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower, and a second toilet. On the first floor are the spacious bedrooms; the last bedroom is accessible through another bedroom. On the other side of the house, the owner lives in a completely separate unit from the vacation home. Cleaning service available (50€); linen rental (10€ per person). Electricity costs 40–60€ per week. Costs may be higher in winter. In July/August and during Christmas/New Year’s, the house is available for rent only on a weekly basis.

Our nature house is located in the “Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges” in the Vosges department. In the spring, the meadows are in bloom with small orchids and cuckoo flowers; in the summer, they’re full of daisies. A charming and authentic French house with a beautiful view. Nice and cool in the summer. Nice bathroom, spacious bedrooms. The second children’s room is only accessible through the first one, but that wasn’t a problem for us.
