Everything was fine. Beautiful quiet area with a nice pool, nice rooms very hospitable and a nice breakfast and dinner

It's a fantastic environment. Everywhere you look it is beautiful. The owner Arnold is a real host and enjoys pampering his visitors. And he can also cook delicious meals!

Het is een fantastische omgeving. Overal waar je kijkt is het prachtig. De eigenaar Arnold is een echte gastheer en vindt het fijn om zijn bezoekers in de watten te leggen. En hij kan ook heerlijk koken!

Bert and Diny are very kind people and exceptionally hospitable. They go out of their way to make sure you experience the ultimate vacation feeling.
They’re truly wonderful cooks. What a treat not to have to cook yourself and to be able to let them pamper you.
Breakfast offered plenty of variety, and Bert and Diny really take the time to find out what you like to eat and what you don’t.
If we asked if we could have lunch as well, that was also possible.

It’s wonderful that there’s a pool to cool off in on hot days.
The rooms were beautifully decorated (exactly as shown in the photos). We were able to choose which rooms we wanted to stay in. The rooms are also cleaned very well and frequently.

It’s also nice that there are various seating areas around the house where you can cool off if needed.

We didn’t do the activities listed below.
If you want to go on an outing, it’s at least a half-hour drive or longer.
Bert and Diny are so well-established in the area that they can give you plenty of tips on restaurants, sights, which routes to take, etc.
Diny called a few times to make restaurant reservations for us. That was really nice.

When talking about our overall experience, we can’t forget to mention their incredibly sweet dog, Leo. It’s so cute how he’s always waiting for you, wagging his tail, eager to be petted.

Bert en Diny zijn hele lieve mensen en bijzonder gastvrij. Zij doen er alles aan om je het ultieme vakantiegevoel te laten ervaren.
Zij kunnen echt heerlijk koken. Wat een verwennerij om zelf niet te hoeven koken en je te kunnen laten verwennen.
Er was variatie in het ontbijt en Bert en Diny stemmen echt met je af wat je lekker vindt om te eten en wat niet.
Als we vroegen of we ook konden lunchen dan was dat ook mogelijk.

Heerlijk is dat er een zwembad aanwezig is om tijdens warme dagen verkoeling te vinden.
De kamers waren erg mooi ingericht (precies zoals op de foto's). We mochten zelf kiezen in welke kamers wij wilden slapen. Er wordt ook heel goed en vaak schoongemaakt.

Wat ook fijn is dat er rondom het huis diverse zitplekken zijn waar je verkoeling kan zoeken indien nodig.

De onderstaande activiteiten hebben wij niet gedaan.
Als je een activiteit wil ondernemen is het minimaal een half uur of langer rijden.
Bert en Diny zijn zo goed ingeburgerd dat zij heel veel tips kunnen geven als het gaat over restaurants, bezienswaardigheden, welke route te rijden etc.
Diny heeft voor ons een paar keer gebeld om restaurant reserveringen te maken. Dat is erg fijn.

Bij de algemene ervaring mag hun ontzettend lieve hond Leo niet worden vergeten. Zo schattig hoe hij je altijd kwispelend staat op te wachten om graag te worden geaaid.

The drive to the house is an experience in itself (a small dirt road).
The house’s location is beautiful—actually, breathtaking.
It’s wonderfully quiet and such a great place to unwind.
The sweeping view is indescribable—you have to experience it for yourself.

De weg naar het huis naar toe is al een belevenis op zich (zandweggetje).
De locatie van het huis is prachtig, eigenlijk adembenemend.
Het is heerlijk stil en zo fijn om tot rust te komen.
Het weidse uitzicht is niet te beschrijven dat moet je ter plekke ervaren.
Als je een liefhebber bent van fotograferen dan kan je dat hier naar hartenlust doen.

Excellent hospitality. The stay is pleasant, the room is clean and cozy, and the hosts are kind, warm people.

Uitstekende gastvrijheid. Het verblijf is prettig, de kamer schoon en warm aangekleed en de gastheer en vrouw zijn lieve, warme mensen.

Complete peace and quiet, sweeping views, and the hustle and bustle of the world far away. A wonderful experience. The journey there is also a great way to unwind.

Volledig rust ervaren, weidse uitzichten en de drukkere wereld die ver weg is. Een heerlijke ervaring. De route er naar toe zorgt ook voor een goede onthaasting
