Nature house in Tazilly

It is an idyllic, magical place. You feel as if you are far away from civilization, although you are also in the pleasant town of Luzy when you feel the need. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome from Godelieve and Ben, the owners. They made our stay even more pleasant with their hospitality. As well as the dogs Kiko and Siepie. Numerous animals color the environment and surprised us every day. So much to discover: butterflies, caterpillars, spiders, lizards, too many to mention. Too many to mention. In peace and quiet with the canoe on the lake where in the evening the swallows flew low, the heron watching from a distance if a fish comes above the water. The storks that flew over in large numbers. Skies that changed every time - a place to unwind, experience nature, feel welcome!

Het is een idyllisch, magisch plekje. Je waant je even ver weg van de bewoonde wereld, al ben je ook zo in het gezellige stadje Luzy wanneer je er behoefte aan hebt.
Bij aankomst kregen we een warm welkom van Godelieve en Ben, de eigenaren. Zij maakten ons verblijf nog aangenamer met hun gastvrijheid. Evenals de honden Kiko en Siepie.

Talrijke diertjes kleuren de omgeving en verrasten ons iedere dag. Zoveel te ontdekken; vlinders, rupsen, spinnetjes, hagedissen. Te veel om op te noemen.

In alle rust met de kano het meer op waar in de avond de zwaluwen laag overvlogen, de reiger van afstand kijkt of een vis even boven het water komt.
De ooievaars die in grote getalen overvlogen. Luchten die elke keer veranderden.
Een plek om tot rust te komen, de natuur te beleven, je welkom te voelen!

We enjoyed the idyllic place and the authentic French cottage. Exactly what we expected from a nature house. Fully equipped and plenty of space and in the middle of nature.

Wij hebben genoten van de idyllische plek en het authentieke Franse huisje. Precies wat we van een natuurhuisje verwachten. Van alle gemakken voorzien en voldoende ruimte en midden in de natuur.

What can we say. If it is up to us we will go again next year, we enjoyed it very much. For anyone who likes lots of peace and beautiful surroundings, this is an absolute must

Wat kunnen we er van zeggen. Als het aan ons ligt gaan we volgend jaar weer, het is ons uitstekend bevallen.
Voor eenieder die van veel rust en een prachtige omgeving houdt is dit een absolute aanrader

We enjoyed our stay at the Huilerie. The cottage is located in a beautiful piece of nature, with lots of privacy and for someone seeking peace and quiet (like us) is more than ideal. Godelieve and Ben are the (excellent) hosts, together with the dogs Kiko (very approachable) and Siepie (needs some getting used to). Luzy is the nearest (nice) town (with supermarket and creperie). Half an hour's drive away is the cathedral city of Autun (very charming place, once founded by the Romans) and a little further away, Cluny (with beautiful abbey). Oh yes, worth mentioning, if you need to swim, about 8 km away is Nocle Maulaix where there is a beautiful plan d'eau.

Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in de Huilerie. Het huisje is gelegen in een prachtig stukje natuur, met veel privacy en voor iemand die rust zoekt (zoals wij) is dat meer dan ideaal. Godelieve en Ben zijn de (uitstekende) gastvrouw en -heer, tezamen met de honden Kiko (zeer benaderbaar) en Siepie (heeft wat wen-tijd nodig)..
Luzy is het dichtstbijzijnde (leuke) plaatsje (met supermarkt en crêperie). Op een half uurtje rijden ligt het kathedraalstadje Autun, (zeer charmante plaats, ooit door de Romeinen gesticht) en ietsje verder weg, Cluny (met prachtige abdij).
Oh ja, vermelden waard, indien zwembehoeftig, op zo'n 8 km ligt Nocle Maulaix alwaar een mooi plan d'eau.

We adults found the seclusion and serenity of this place the perfect opportunity to devote ourselves to reading at our leisure - especially the fascinating history.
The highlights of our vacation undoubtedly included a visit to the impressive museums in Bibracte and Alesia, a hike up to the oppidum through the ancient, almost mystical forest of Bibracte and the lively Friday market in Luzy with its characterful French traders and delicious local produce. Last but not least, we would like to thank Ben and Godelieve, our wonderful hosts, from the bottom of our hearts. From the very beginning we felt welcome, almost like old friends. Their love for this unique nature reserve, which they look after with great dedication, can be felt in every detail. We look back on this vacation with gratitude - and are certain that it was certainly not our last visit to this place full of beauty and soul.

Wir Erwachsenen fanden in der Abgeschiedenheit und Gelassenheit dieses Ortes die perfekte Gelegenheit, uns in aller Muße der Lektüre zu widmen – insbesondere der faszinierenden Geschichte.
Zu den Höhepunkten unseres Urlaubs zählten zweifellos der Besuch der eindrucksvoll gestalteten Museen in Bibracte und Alesia, eine Wanderung hinauf zum Oppidum durch den uralten, beinahe mystisch anmutenden Wald von Bibracte sowie der lebendige Freitagsmarkt in Luzy mit seinen charaktervollen französischen Händlern und den köstlichen regionalen Produkten.
Nicht zuletzt möchten wir Ben und Godelieve, unseren wunderbaren Gastgebern, von Herzen danken. Von Anfang an fühlten wir uns willkommen, ja beinahe wie alte Freunde. Ihre Liebe zu diesem einzigartigen Naturschutzgebiet, das sie mit großer Hingabe pflegen, ist in jedem Detail spürbar.
Wir blicken mit Dankbarkeit auf diesen Urlaub zurück – und sind uns sicher: Es war gewiss nicht unser letzter Besuch an diesem Ort voller Schönheit und Seele.

Our stay in the enchanting vacation cottage was simply a dream. Embedded in a quiet, almost magical natural setting, we were able to experience two weeks of complete relaxation. The tranquillity of the place has an almost healing quality - accompanied by the soft chirping of crickets, the singing of birds and the beguiling scent of wild herbs growing all around. For our children, the extensive grounds offered countless opportunities for play and discovery: sailing out in rafts and canoes, table tennis, trampolining and splashing around at the waterfall made every day a little adventure.

Unser Aufenthalt in dem zauberhaften Ferienhäuschen war schlichtweg ein Traum. Eingebettet in eine stille, nahezu magische Naturkulisse, durften wir zwei Wochen der vollkommenen Erholung erleben. Die Ruhe des Ortes ist von einer geradezu heilsamen Qualität – begleitet vom leisen Zirpen der Grillen, dem Gesang der Vögel und dem betörenden Duft wilder Kräuter, die ringsum wachsen.
Für unsere Kinder bot das weitläufige Gelände unzählige Möglichkeiten zum Spielen und Entdecken: mit Floß und Kanu hinaus schippern, Tischtennis, Trampolin und das Matschen am Wasserfall machten jeden Tag zu einem kleinen Abenteuer.
