La Charnière is in Chadalais, part of the commune of Maisonnais-sur-Tardoire in the Parc Natural Regional Perigord- Limousin and on the route of Richard the Lionheart. We offer a peaceful and calm retreat whatever your reason for staying. Chadalais is a delightful little hamlet, being surrounded by typical French countryside, Limousin cattle and wildlife. We're in the Limousin, but just on the borders of Charente and Dordogne, giving a great base to explore this beautiful area of France. Our location gives great accessibility to many villages and larger towns for their amenities, activities and attractions, as well as regular events and traditional festivals. The area offers well-maintained routes with minimal traffic that pass through chestnut forests, farmland and pretty villages. We hold the tourist label Randonnée 87 for hiking, VTT and cycling, with many routes in our locality, and the ability to provide dedicated services to guests.
