Nature house in Imphy

On the edge of the county estate, lies this charming, fully furnished castle house (former gatekeeper's cottage). The house, traditionally built in 1860, is built of natural stone and features a turret, stepped gables and dormers. Although formally not yet a monument, the nature house has a monumental appearance. In 2008, the house was completely renovated with great attention to tradition. Monumental fireplace and oak beamed ceiling have been preserved. In addition, the kitchen and bathroom have been modernized, and equipped with an induction hob with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and coffee and espresso machine. The nature house can accommodate 4 people and a baby/toddler (master bedroom a 2-bed and if necessary a baby bed, small bedroom 2 separate beds). The house is situated on a spacious private property ( approx. 2000 m2, with grape covered terraces with outdoor fireplace and fruit trees. The grounds are fenced and safe for children.

The nature house is sublime and freely located, in the beautiful, rolling countryside of the Nièvre department, Burgundy region. The house is located in the hamlet of Le Petit Moulin, about 1.5 km from the center of the Loire town of Imphy, a short distance from the Morvan National Park. The monumental, historic ducal city of Nevers is 9 km away. The house is 250 km south of Paris and is easily accessible via the A77 (route des Arbres). The area is ideal for hiking and cycling (bikes available), but the spacious grounds, with terraces, outdoor fireplace and hammocks, is also very suitable for staying around the house. Along the property runs a private path that leads to the castle. The landscape is very varied: pastures for the white Charolais cows, woodland and watercourses. In the vicinity are plenty of recreational opportunities and starting points for day trips. A list of possible activities is provided to tenants.
