Nature and surroundings
Our village Uxeau lies at the foot of Mont Dardon ( H 506) one of the southernmost foothills of the Morvan. Very far away from all the hustle and bustle, no air routes just the silence and tranquility of nature. The cottage is located at the edge of the forest on a hill. The garden (65 a) with swimming pool is located on a southern slope with magnificent views and a cozy sitting area under our hundred-year-old oak. At night no light pollution but an impressive starry sky. The region is known for its green meadows bordered by endless hedges and forests. At the top of Mont Dardon, one has a breathtaking view of the region. Hiking and forest trails from the house as in a large park landscape. Beautiful art cities nearby Autun, Paray Le Monial, Beaune, Chalon s. Saone, Charolles, Cluny.

Nature, peace & environment:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Uxeau! The nature house is located in an oasis of peace and quiet, with a beautiful "zen" view. The cottage has a lot of charm and is equipped with everything you need. A big plus I found (the kids had to get used to it ;-) the lack of wifi - this gave us the chance to really relax and loosen up. In the vicinity there are also nice activities: there is a climbing course for those who like adventure, and we had a super fun day at Diverti'Parc. The absolute asset of this nature house was the tranquility and, of course, the pool. In addition, the experience with the owners was particularly pleasant: they were always responsive, friendly and proactive. We had a wonderful experience and we definitely recommend this nature house for those looking for a relaxing and carefree stay!
We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in Uxeau! Het natuurhuisje ligt in een oase van rust en stilte, met een prachtig 'zen' uitzicht.
