Detached nature house, in its own forest. Sleeps 4. The interior has a Ralph Lauren lodge feel, with a retro-vintage interior. An attractive, somewhat older, cozy messy family home. On the ground floor is a spacious living/dining room with fireplace (both inside and outside), and a spacious open kitchen with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, etc. In the hallway is the toilet and a laundry room with washing machine. On the 1st floor: two bedrooms, one with 1 x double bed (1m60 wide), and one with 2 x single bed. Also here the fantastic retro bathroom, where do you still find them: the green sink and brown tiles! Including toilet. Downstairs in the basement can be a bit chilly. Good to know: Relatively nearby is a train track where a train passes four times an hour (sometimes a train at night). Depending on the wind, the noise is audible but not annoying.
Nature and surroundings
Free in its own forest. Around the nature house a large lawn and a terrace with plenty of sun. Beautiful rhododendrons, blue hydrangea and of course the forest. With squirrels, owls, woodpeckers, etc. And if you are lucky, in the late afternoon you will see a deer in the back of the garden. The forest house is located in a so-called coulisselandschap, a semi-open landscape with varied nature and partly dirt roads where it is wonderful walking.
