Tucked away behind the village of Grandrieux, surrounded by nature and bordering a swimming pond, you’ll find complete peace and quiet. Since you’ll have the entire pasture to yourselves during your stay, you can bring your own horse(s) and/or let your dogs run free and/or swim. There are plenty of hiking and biking opportunities in the French Ardennes, accessible directly from the cottage; hiking maps are provided inside. The cottage itself is really cute and has a nice atmosphere. However, it was a bit cramped for us (a family of four). There are plenty of outdoor seating areas (which is great!), but some of them could use replacing or refurbishing (splinters/rot).
