Nature house in Weidenberg

Our over 100 year old, detached house on the lake is located at the entrance to the Fichtelgebirge. A cycle path starts right outside the front door. It is self-sufficiently supplied with water from the house's own well. You live in the Nature house alone. Shopping facilities 1 km from the house.idyllic in the middle of nature, the river Warme Steinach flows along the garden, to the right of the property is a small swimming lake. In summer you can take a refreshing dip in the lake as soon as you get up or you can put on your bathing shoes and enjoy a refreshing Kneipp bath directly in the river. The house is only accessible via a closed private road, so you have maximum privacy and hiking trails into the Fichtelgebirge start right outside the front door. In winter you can ski or cross-country ski on numerous slopes. End the day comfortably by the Swedish stove. Bed linen and a set of towels are provided by us.

The Margravial Opera House, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2012, is located 15 km away in Bayreuth (population approx. 70,000). It is one of the few original preserved theater and opera buildings (1748) in Europe and is a jewel among the theater buildings of the 18th century. 1875 on the Green Hill is the Festspielhaus, built according to designs by Richard Wagner in the style of Hellenistic Romanticism. The world-famous Richard Wagner Festival takes place here every summer. Numerous politicians and stars take part every year, while the 18th-century rococo-style Hermitage Park with its gilded quadriga, Temple of the Sun and New Palace is another absolute highlight, as are the Richard Wagner Museum, the Primeval World Museum with dinosaurs for children, the Franz Liszt Museum and the Old Palace, to name just a few of the many attractions.
