This nature house is suitable for 2 to 7 people. There are three bedrooms, a kitchen (with 5-burner stove, oven, fridge freezer), a dining/living room with wood stove. Two bathrooms with bath, shower, wc. The layout bedrooms, room 1: double bed (1.40-1.90m), room 2: two single beds (0.90-2.00m) together a double bed of 1.80-2.00m. Third bed (0.90-2.00m). Room 3: two single beds (0.80-2.00m) together a double bed of 1.60-2.00m. Bed linen can be provided. Please bring your own bath towels. Washing machine is available. There is 4G coverage. The dining room doors open onto the terrace. You can sit in several places around the house. Views over the valley and the mountains. Breakfast and/or dinner can be ordered from me. I cook vegetarian, this with local products and from my own vegetable garden. You get it served in the gite or on the terrace.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house, part of a large former farmhouse built in 1840, is located in the hamlet "Les Granges" surrounded by meadows and mountains. The hamlet consists of three households, one is the cottage, the other two houses are occupied by French people who live there permanently. The owner lives 500m away. However, there are no other vacation tenants during your stay. The garden is private to the gîte. Les Granges is located 500m away from Bouvières, a small village in the Drôme. It is located on a cul-de-sac used only by a few walkers or the neighbor who needs to go to a pasture behind. The colorful lavender and sunflower fields, the mountain streams and the spectacular gorges make this region so special. Apart from hikers, the area around Bouvières is also very suitable for cyclists who want to make day trips and of course, the Mont Ventoux at 45km distance.
