Nature house in Stavelot (Coo)

For the ultimate tranquility experience, you're in the perfect place. There is a booklet ready where you can look up all the fun things you can do. The area is great and everything is easily accessible by car. If you stay in the cottage, you will not be bored here either. Think of games, books etc. The fireplace gives a nice atmosphere. Tip: Promenade de la Hoëgne is about 25 minutes by car. A very beautiful nature reserve through the woods. Note: you must wear sturdy walking shoes and love climbing and scrambling ;)

Voor de ultieme rust ervaring, zit je hier perfect. Er ligt een boekje klaar waarin je alle leuke dingen die je kunt doen kan op zoeken. De omgeving is geweldig en alles is goed met de auto te bereiken. Blijf je in het huisje, dan hoef je je ook hier niet te vervelen. Denk aan spelletjes, boekjes enz. De openhaard geeft een fijne sfeer. Tip; op ong 25 min rijden ligt Promenade de la Hoëgne. Een heel mooi natuurgebied door de bossen. Let wel; je moet stevige wandelschoenen aantrekken en van klimmen en klauteren houden ;)

Since a long time again sat in a cottage where everything was in perfect order. Everything is clean, well stocked and the contact with Pieter was very pleasant. This host has decorated everything with care and thinks along with the guests staying there. The service is (old fashioned) great and not like it is often these days, where you as a guest have to think of everything to take or do before you leave. We really came to rest and very happy to see that fortunately it is still possible to get out and about without all the rules of today. Pieter, thank you!!!!

Sinds een lange tijd weer eens in een huisje gezeten waar alles op en top voor mekaar was. Alles is schoon, ruim voorradig en het contact met Pieter was erg prettig. Deze gastheer heeft alles met zorg ingericht en denkt mee met de gasten die er verblijven. De service is (ouderwets) geweldig en niet zoals het tegenwoordig vaak gaat, waarbij je als gast aan alles moet denken om mee te nemen of te doen voordat je weggaat. We zijn echt tot rust gekomen en heel blij om te zien dat het gelukkig nog mogelijk is om er even lekker op uit te gaan zonder alle regeltjes van tegenwoordig. Pieter, bedankt!!!!

Great nature house, well furnished neat. Environment is beautiful only in February at the waterfalls of COO is unfortunately no restaurant open . With pieter the owner very well communicated. Note the height differences in and around the cottage. Fortunately in our week there was no snow but if there is then it is careful to come to the cottage

Geweldig natuurhuisje, goed ingericht netjes. Omgeving is mooi alleen in februari bij de watervallen van COO is helaas geen restaurant open . Met pieter de eigenaar zeer goed gecommuniceerd. Let wel op de hoogte verschillen in en om het huisje . Gelukkig was er in onze week geen sneeuw maar als die er is dan is het oppassen om bij het huisje te komen

Ground floor was newly renovated in early January 2025. Lovely practical kitchen, cozy living room with beautiful views of the valley. Romantic fireplace. Nice fenced terrace, ideal for walking the dog. Everything present also in terms of kitchen appliances and supplies. We were there during snow. Best come with winter tires or all season tires and 4x4 drive. It is steep at the entrance to the park. Owner Pieter was very approachable and attentive. I would love to come back in the summer though.

Gelijkvloers was pas gerenoveerd begin januari 2025. Heerlijk praktische keuken, gezellige woonkamer met prachtig vergezicht op de vallei. Romantisch haardvuur. Fijn omheind terras, ideaal om de hond even buiten te laten lopen. Alles aanwezig ook qua keukentoestellen en -benodigdheden. We waren er tijdens sneeuw. Kom best met winterbanden of met alle seizoensbanden en 4x4 aandrijving. Het is steil aan de ingang van het park. Eigenaar Pieter was heel bereikbaar en attent. Ik zou wel graag nog eens terugkomen in de zomer.
