Nestled in the woods is an old stone farmhouse dating back to 1300 that has undergone a fine conservative restoration. The B & B has comfortable rooms furnished in old Tuscan style all with satellite TV, here you can indulge in the relaxation of the countryside you can go hiking , mountain biking or walking on the paths of the CAI. The house is located in Tuscany in the province of Florence, in San Godenzo, between the borders of Tuscany, Romagna and the National Park of Casentino Forests Monte Falterona and Campigna ( in Castagno D'Andrea ) We are on a hill 350M high under the Tuscan and Casentino Apennine Mountains. Our structure geographically is positioned in a strategic point to reach with a few kilometers, Florence, Siena, the Casentino and its Castles, Camaldoli, La Verna, all the Val di Sieve and Mugello
Nature and surroundings
Around us are about 4 hectares of Forest, with many CAI trails leading to the ridges of the surrounding mountains, you can hear the flow of water from streams and springs, we are located, on the borders of the National Park of Casentino Forests Monte Falterona and Campigna. Here at Podere Cerreta, you will be able to observe, with a little luck, Hawks, Deer, Wild Boars, Porcupines, Squirrels, Jays, Pheasants, etc.. At our place you will find: Amiatini Donkeys, Little Goats, A breeding of Amroks Hens raised strictly on the ground in the woods and fresh eggs every day, ducks and beautiful Roosters that give us the alarm clock in the morning!
