On the ground floor of the nature house, there’s a spacious entryway, a large bathroom with a tub, shower, sink, and washer/dryer, a toilet with a sink, and a utility room. Here you’ll also find our open-concept kitchen with a cooking island, and in the center stands a beautiful tiled stove. A large sliding door offers a magical view and access to the patio. A double sofa bed is available. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms, each with a double bed, and the option to add two single fold-out beds. The second bathroom is also located here, featuring a shower, sink, and toilet. The bedroom at the front has a large balcony. The entire upper floor has attic spaces on both sides of the bedrooms, where additional storage space is available. Nature and surroundings
Our beautiful, newly built nature house is located at 1,100 meters above sea level in the mountainous region of the Hohe Tauern. The phenomenal, unobstructed view of the Möll Valley is breathtaking. Nature reveals itself in its purest form. And in the evenings, you’ll hear the crickets singing their most melodious songs. Our cottage is the perfect starting point for beautiful marked hiking trails, alpine meadows, and mountain huts. Obervellach is centrally located between Spittal a.d. Drau and Lienz. The ski areas are 10 km (Mallnitz Ankogel) or 20 km (Mölltaler Glacier) from our house. Stunning gorges, an adventure park, whitewater sports, a swimming pool, and an indoor tennis court are also among the top attractions this small village has to offer. And in the winter, you can enjoy the toboggan run and/or snowshoeing. There’s also a shooting range at the campground. For cultural activities, the Obervellach Tourist Office can provide information on all the current events taking place during your stay.
