Nature house in Joppe

This semi-detached nature house is located in an oasis of peace, in the woods in the Achterhoek. You quickly feel at ease in the modern design with brocante details that refer to the old farms in the Achterhoek. You look out through the large windows on the swimming pond, the forest and the field. In the morning and evening the deer frequently pass by. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering. Basic products, as herbs, organic teas, coffee are available. On the ground floor is a nice bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet, washbasin and hair dryer. Organic shampoo and shower gel are provided. The spacious double bedroom with toilet and washbasin is on the first floor. The location of the nature house offers lots of privacy, is wonderfully bright, is very well insulated, has a private terrace and parking space.

You can walk straight into the woods from this nature house. Along Huize 't Joppe, on the Gorsselse heath or along the Berkel near Almen. Many bicycle and ATB routes through the varied landscape of the Achterhoek, start at the door. A castle tour, where the Achterhoek is littered with, is also a possibility. The place is not isolated, because you can walk to one of the nearby restaurants or vineyard De Zessprong. The atmospheric Gorssel, to visit Museum More, is a 10-minute bike ride away. The beautiful Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer are only half an hour by bike. The special thing is that from the cottage you can make both a trip to Salland with its beautiful nature around the Holterberg, the Veluwe with its Posbank, and the Achterhoek with its Lochem mountain. In the summer you can take the ferry across the IJssel and you are so on the Veluwe.
