Nature house in Antella

The house is a portion of a stone farmhouse nestled among olive groves and Chianti vineyards. It offers two independent , comfortable apartments in a haven of quiet and greenery. A large garden with barbecue is available.

La Cascianella is located in southeast Florence, at the beginning of the Chianti region, 3 km from the village of Antella and only 8 km from Florence. To reach the house there is one kilometer of dirt road that can be easily traveled. The roads surrounding the countryside are free of traffic. The apartment is part of a 17th-century stone farmhouse nestled in the countryside among centuries-old olive groves and vineyards. The entire area was reclaimed by the family of Count Ugolino della Gherardesca. Prestige of the past civilization still remain the aqueducts of Villa Lappeggi and Villa Mondeggi, Medici residences where Michelangelo spent his leisure time forming " The Arcadia of the Antellese shepherds."
