Behind the imposing facade of the nature house is a former monastery from the early 1800's, a small paradise with 3 independent vacation homes. Uniquely, Le Prieuré has a chapel, still in its original state, where you can retire to listen to pleasant music. The farmhouse is the oldest part of Le Prieuré. This very luxurious gîte has a private patio cum courtyard garden (40 m2) with its own entrance. You have access to a luxury garden set, 2 deckchairs and a barbeque. This enclosed courtyard gives direct access to the chapel where you can listen and enjoy music. The gîte has a fully equipped open kitchen with a 5 burner gas stove incl 2 ovens, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave. The living room , with a very pleasant fireplace, has an area of over 60 m2. On the 1st floor there is a spacious bedroom. Next to the living room there is a bedroom ( 20m2) for 2 persons, 2 beds 90x200 cm.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the beautiful medieval village of Cieurac, a 2-minute walk from the Dordogne River. Cieurac is 2 km from Souillac. This bustling town offers plenty of stores, sunny terraces, restaurants, museums and markets. You can also play tennis, golf, horseback riding and canoeing. Le Prieuré is centrally located to the famous towns of Sarlat, Domme, Beynac and the monastery town of Rocamodour. You can also hike and bike from the accommodation in the beautiful surroundings. For fishing enthusiasts, the Dordogne is a real challenge.
