Ideal for walking the tracks and lanes around the house or explore the area and it’s history. We are just 35 minutes to the sandy beaches of the Cote d’Opale where you can stroll along the beaches, enjoy seafood restaurants or just enjoy the peace and quiet of uncrowded beaches. The rolling hills inland offer great hiking or cycling routes and nearby there is river fishing to be enjoyed. Summertime brocanting is a firm favourite with bargains to be had every Sunday in the season, or visit the local farmers’ markets for fresh veggies and local produce. We can book restaurants for you and advise you on the best places to visit to get the most out of your holiday. Electric bikes can be hired nearby to get out and explore this fabulous region and we have superb walking guide books to read. We are in a part of france where Dark Skies are the norm, so plenty of stargazing on clear nights with even a chance to spot the International Space Station flying over!!

    The cottage is in the yard of the residents, with another cottage there. That was not inhabited now so we had the pool to ourselves. The cottage itself has everything you need and feels comfortable. All windows have good mosquito nets, very nice. It can get hot upstairs but luckily we got a fan.
