Situated in the courtyard of our farmhouse and sharing a parking area and garden with another small holiday property, The Barn is a wonderful place to relax for a couple. With beams throughout & original touches, it’s cozy in the cooler months with an electric stove, fitted kitchen and comfortable sitting area with tv & DVD. Free WiFi, bedding, and towels are included in the rental. Relax on the private terrace or enjoy the shared splash pool alongside the cottage. An experience not to missed is an evening in our unique Barbecue Hut, bring your food, we’ll light the fire and leave you to enjoy. Please note that for 2023 we are leaving a longer gap between bookings giving us time to fully prepare the cottage for your arrival. This includes deep cleaning the property, changing all the bedding (mattress and pillow protectors) on all beds. The owner is a qualified therapist and offers Well Being, Tibetan or Kobido massages so you can truly relax on holiday
Nature and surroundings
Ideal for walking the tracks and lanes around the house or explore the area and it’s history. We are just 35 minutes to the sandy beaches of the Cote d’Opale where you can stroll along the beaches, enjoy seafood restaurants or just enjoy the peace and quiet of uncrowded beaches. The rolling hills inland offer great hiking or cycling routes and nearby there is river fishing to be enjoyed. Summertime brocanting is a firm favourite with bargains to be had every Sunday in the season, or visit the local farmers’ markets for fresh veggies and local produce. We can book restaurants for you and advise you on the best places to visit to get the most out of your holiday. Please note that in the cooler months (October to end April) we have a nominal electric fee which covers all heating and hot water for €7 per day.

Nature, peace & environment:Very quiet village with little traffic and little noise. The reception is friendly and everything is well organized. The cottage is spacious enough for 2 people, especially the kitchen is spacious and pleasant but also the bathroom is super.
Zeer rustig dorpje met weinig verkeer en weinig geluid. De ontvangst is vriendelijk en alles is goed georganiseerd. Het huisje is voor 2 personen ruim zat, vooral de keuken is ruim en prettig maar ook de badkamer is super.

De eigenaars zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam.
