DOG FRIENDLY (1 well behaved dog accepted) our 18C semi detached 3 bedroom cottage has been restored to exceptionally high standards. In a rural village location with off road parking for 3 cars, a large garden, terrace making it the perfect place to relax with family or friends. For a great night in enjoy our Games Barn with comfy seating, English billiards, secure cycle parking (bikes not included) - the perfect place for a fun evening. Our cottage has exposed beams, a cosy fireplace with electric stove for chillier evenings, it’s the perfect place to explore this lovely region. With 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and one twin), two shower rooms and a fully fitted kitchen this cottage is perfect for a holiday. There is a 28sqm terrace, BBQ and views across the garden and pétanque court. Nearby is the River Aa, ideal for a riverside picnic under the trees. The owner is a qualified therapist and offers Well Being, Tibetan or Kobido massages so you can truly relax on holiday

Nature and surroundings

There are cows in the fields at the rear of the property in the summertime, pheasants and hares wander through the garden & a family of hedgehogs live in the wild part of the garden. Just over 30 minutes to the sandy beaches of the Cote D’Opale or wander through the lanes and tracks around the cottage. Electric bikes can be hired nearby for cycling the quiet lanes. Local markets and Sunday brocantes are fabulous in the summertime or visit Saint Omer with its canals and cobbled streets. Walk the ramparts at Montreuil sur Mer, admire the panoramic views, take a coffee or lunch in one of its many restaurants. Please note that due to Covid we are leaving a longer gap between bookings giving us time to fully prepare the cottage for arrivals.
