Nature house in Le Lindois

This naturehouse is a delightfully converted hay barn, offering quality accommodation for 6 with a large open plan first floor living area with southerly views over the Charente countryside from the adjoining balcony. The haybarn consists of two separate, independent self-catering gites alongside each other. Shared large garden with plenty of room for children to play. There is much to do on site with a large shared heated swimming pool to relax by in the summer months, gym and sauna (small extra charge) or just a perfect place to explore local attractions and activities, including water sports and beach at the nearby lake. Sympathetically renovated, the house offers quality accommodation whilst retaining its natural French rustic charm. Its one King-size, one double and one twin bedroom sleeps 6 people comfortably, and all bedrooms have exposed beams and partially exposed stone walls. We live on site and are available if you need any help or require local recommendations.

Rural location, surrounded by farmland with views over the Charente countryside. The nature house is just outside the quiet hamlet of Le Lindois, in a great location and is served by excellent restaurants (nearest 5-10 minute drive) and there are lots of other interesting activities to keep everyone happy. The quaint market town of La Rochefoucauld with its own castle is only a 10-minute drive away, with a large supermarket, restaurants and shops and the historic city of Angoulême, the capital of the Charente, just a further 15 minutes away. If you would like to venture out and about, this lovely holiday cottage is situated in the south of the Poitou-Charente region. With beautiful lakes and sandy lake beaches such as the Lakes of Lavaud and Mas Chaban nearby – it’s a great place to take the kids with play areas and lots to do, including the tree top adventure parc at Massignac (10 minutes drive away).
