Nature house in Santa Brigida, Pontassieve, (Fi)

The house is cozy, bright and there is a lot of silence. On sunny days you can enjoy breathtaking views of the hills and valleys of more than half of Tuscany. In summer you can always sleep cool, because the house is made of stone and we are located on a dominant hill at an altitude of 720 meters, surrounded by vast forests of chestnut, oak, poplar, blackthorn, hawthorn, broom, heather, etc., so there is always good and fine air to breathe and breeze, even in summer. In spring and autumn, the colors and vegetation are beautiful. In winter you can enjoy the widest and clearest views of the sky up to M. Amiata, the metallic hills, the hills of Livorno and the sea overlooking Livorno. Outside the house there is a green space, a panoramic balcony overlooking the hills and valleys below, where you can stop and rest on chairs, table and stone terrace and contemplate the beauty and tranquility ... To recharge your batteries!!!

The surrounding nature is beautiful, both for the harmonious forms of the surrounding landscape, for the biodiversity of the plant extracts present, and for the predominance of a quite wild and untouched nature. A short distance from the house you can admire several specimens of the cistus laurinus, an evergreen shrub that has remained only here in Italy and is considered a relic of pre-glacial times, its flowering between late May and early June is beautiful. The house is located in the heart of a protected natural area of local interest and with many well-maintained and marked trails, characterized by the presence of ancient storms, cellar stone artifacts and with a spring inside, where butter was produced for the temperature kept cool even in summer. My house also has a very special and visitable storm cellar. There is also the presence of many species of wildlife, wild boar, deer, foxes, badgers, day and night birds.
