Rural vacation home in Greonterp. A small village located in SúdWest Fryslân near the Elfstedenstadjes Bolsward, Sneek, IJlst and Workum. Also nearby are the water sports villages Oudega (SWF) and Heeg. The vacation house is located in the backyard of our farm. Our farm with dairy farm is located outside the village and has beautiful views. It is in the midst of real outdoor life. You can relax here and enjoy the peace, space and wide surroundings, which is an excellent starting point for a bike ride, hike or sailing trip with a canoe or electric boat in the Frisian Lakes area. The vacation home is extremely clean, offers lots of coziness, comfort, private kitchen and bathroom, cozy pellet stove and beautiful sunsets. There are French doors and several terraces with garden furniture, parasol and sun beds. You will make use of luxury Bunzlau Castle tableware and delicious Rituals products, among other things. You will lack nothing here.

The mound village of Greonterp is about a 15-minute drive from Bolsward, Sneek and Workum. The villages of Blauwhuis and Oudega (SWF) are a few kilometers by bike. Here are the amenities of a village cafe, bakery and supermarket. The village Greonterp has about 80 inhabitants. The place gained some fame because the writer Gerard Reve lived and worked there for several years (1964-1971). The village is rather isolated in the vast landscape. The beauty of it is that you also have a wide view all around. Within walking distance is the beautiful lake the 'Oudegaaster Brekken'. On the north side of this is Doris Mooltsje, an octagonal spinning head mill from 1791, the oldest in Friesland. Also nearby are the three lakes: the Vliet, the Rietmeer and the Sipkemeer. The nature around Greonterp attracts many cyclists and hikers, for which many cycling and walking routes are available.
