Nature house in Nicolosi

A charming chalet surrounded by nature, a few minutes from the town of Nicolosi (CT). Nature house located at 1500 m a.s.l., is completely immersed in nature, in the heart of the '' Etna Park '', the highest active volcano in Europe declared a Unesco heritage site. Framed by a forest of chestnut trees , centuries-old oaks and the most recent lava flows of 1983 and 2001 Matilde's chalet offers breathtaking views of the Volcano to the north and the entire eastern coast to the south. The property was recently restored with high-quality wood and is tastefully furnished with rustic furniture and fabrics following traditional mountain style. The Chalet can accommodate up to 8 people as it has 3 private bedrooms, one with a double bed the other with a single bed and a 1/2 bed and a private room with a single bed, a sofa bed in the common room, a fully equipped kitchen and an en suite bathroom on the second floor. Outside you can use the barbecue and oven.

Excellent starting point for several nature trails near forests and ancient craters.
