Six person Finnish bungalow in which pets are welcome. The entire cottage is floor heated. There is a cozy wood stove in the living area, a dining area with open kitchen including combi microwave/oven and dishwasher. The bathroom has a spacious shower. You have a private terrace with a large enclosed garden. Furniture gets a second life with us. This is more durable than new furniture. During your stay you can use the facilities of the small-scale vacation park. There is a nice petting zoo where the animals are fed every day, a playground and a terrace where from Monday to Saturday coffee / tea with apple pie is served. Also use of the media library with free loan of books, DVDs and games. In the reception is also a store selling organic products. In the period from November 1 to April 1, prices do not include gas consumption heating/cooking.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a dirt road in the woods outside Otterlo, on a small-scale vacation park. You walk from your cottage directly into forests and heathland and Nature Reserve De Zanding. National Park De Hoge Veluwe is 1500 meters away, Nature Reserve the Planken Wambuis just as much the other way. Surrounded by attractive recreational facilities such as Burgers Zoo, the Apenheul, Ouwehands Dierenpark and the Dutch Open Air Museum. At this cottage nature and peace are central, there is space for everyone and we do business from a sustainable perspective. For the children: a nice petting zoo and a playground with swings, seesaw, hut construction, slide, sandbox and a wooden playhouse. Every morning the children may help feed the animals, then the possibility of a ride on the horse. You will also find a cozy terrace, this is open every morning from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00.
