Luxury yurt that easily sleeps 5 on a private estate. It has one master bed, one pull-out couch that can sleep two and we provide an extra single mattress for the 5th person. The yurt has a fully equipped kitchen (4 gas stoves - NO oven) as well as a woodstove and an electrical heater. The private bathroom is around the corner in a separate building (10 metres away) with a walk-in shower and compost toilet. The yurt has its own large private area/garden, with a firepit, outside picknick table with outdoor lighting, and its own dock with seating area. Luxe yurt met 5 slaapplaatsen op een privéterrein. De yurt heeft een tweepersoonsbed, een uitschuifbare slaapbank voor twee personen en we bieden een extra eenpersoonsmatras voor de 5e persoon. De yurt beschikt over een volledig uitgeruste keuken (4 gaspitten - GEEN oven), een houtkachel en een elektrische kachel. De eigen badkamer bevindt zich om de hoek in een apart gebouw (10 meter verderop) met een inloopdouche en composttoilet.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house overlooks a nice pond with diverse wildlife (frogs, salamanders, ducks, moorhens etc.) it borders a 4ha forest in the back and a vegetable garden. There are some chickens on the premises... The yurt sits on a private estate of 12ha. Guests are welcome to explore the picturesque grounds with diverse centenary trees, a large pond (where one can row the boats) and a 19th century ice house/cellar (bat cave). One can often find wild deer roaming the estate... There are also some nice hikes to do in the immediate area (Kampveld, Doeveren) and larger region (Bulskampveld). The old town of Bruges is 12km away.
