Nature house in Wellseind

Between the fortified town of Zaltbommel, located in the Bommelerwaard, and Den Bosch, the capital of Brabant, lies this house on the Wellseindsedijk in Well, (Gelderland), where you can also stay for longer periods. You’ll be renting the upstairs studio. The house consists of two studios that can be rented separately, each with its own entrance. This ensures you’ll enjoy complete privacy. The studio is fully equipped. Bedding and towels are provided. You’ll have a view of the Afgedamde Maas. Surrounded by meadows, you’ll feel as if you’re right in the heart of nature. The studios feature a private terrace with an electric pergola and a dock offering opportunities for swimming, fishing, and water sports. The nature house is ideal if you’re seeking peace and quiet or a retreat. A retreat can be fully customized to your needs. The nature house is located along the pilgrimage route between Amsterdam and Den Bosch. Discounts are available for stays longer than 6 nights. The house, including the terrace, is smoke-free. We ask that you respect this policy.

The nature house is surrounded by floodplains. From your studio with a terrace on the river side, you can go birdwatching and enjoy the beautiful river landscape, allowing you to feel at one with nature. The nature house has a private dock. All you have to do is cross the bridge over the creek, and this place is all yours. You can swim, fish, and go boating, and a boat can be moored here by arrangement. We have two kayaks that you’re welcome to use. If the ice is thick enough, you can go ice skating here in the winter. There are beautiful hiking trails in the area. The nature house is situated between two clog trails (the Baanbrekerpad and the Hamaritapad), which lead past the most beautiful spots in the Bommelerwaard. However, there are even more clog trails in the Bommelerwaard: the Alemsche Pad, the Nywelepad, and the Zandslagenpad. The river region, with its dikes, is ideal for cycling.
