Nature house in Doornspijk

The kitchen has plenty of everything, so we were able to cook extensively all days. The decor is cozy and there are plenty of candles and lamps to make it homey. You can chop your own wood for the stove (we didn't). And the icing on the cake are the chickens that scratch around you while you sit outside with your wine. One chicken was broody and sitting on the nest. The other, we called her Trudie, came by every day and really sought our company. We enjoyed the peace and quiet.

In de keuken is alles ruim aanwezig, dus we konden alle dagen uitgebreid koken. De inrichting is sfeervol en er zijn voldoende kaarsjes en lampen aanwezig om het huiselijk te maken. Hout kan je zelf hakken voor de kachel (hebben wij niet gedaan). En kers op de taart zijn de kippen die gezellig om je heen scharrelen als je met je wijntje buiten zit. Eén kip was broeds en zat op het nest. De andere, we noemden haar Trudie, kwam iedere dag langs en zocht echt ons gezelschap op. We hebben genoten van de rust.

It is a lovely cottage with all the trimmings. The terrace under the canopy ensures that even when it drizzles you can be outside. The other terrace is nice and sunny. But best of all is the complete greenery around the house; a beautiful full garden allowing you to enjoy the birds in total privacy. There is also a lot to do in the area. We rented bikes in Nunspeet: Hoegen comes to bring them and picks them up again.

Het is een heerlijk huisje met alles erop en eraan. Het terrasje onder het afdak zorgt ervoor dat je ook als het miezert lekker buiten kunt zijn. Het andere terras ligt lekker in de zon. Maar het allerbeste is nog wel het complete groen om het huis heen; een prachtige volle tuin waardoor je helemaal privé van de vogels kunt genieten. Er is ook veel te doen in de omgeving. We hebben fietsen gehuurd in Nunspeet: Hoegen komt ze brengen en haalt ze weer op.

Mooi dat we ook vanuit het huisje zo door kunnen lopen richting de zandverstuiving, een heel mooie omgeving waarvoor je dus helemaal niet eerst een weg over hoeft, je zit al midden in de natuur.

Daarnaast is de nabijheid van het Veluwemeer en een stadje als Elburg ook erg leuk.

Beautifully situated among the many greenery and whistling birds. Lots of privacy and quiet environment.

Mooi gelegen tussen het vele groen en fluitende vogels. Veel privacy en rustige omgeving.
