Welcome! Look for miles into the country and enjoy all the birds, the view and sometimes a deer shoots by. The upstairs apartment is accessed via a wide staircase where you end up on a balcony. The nature house has a living room with an atmospheric fireplace. Sitting area and dining table with 4 chairs. Adjacent are 2 small bedrooms each with a single bed. There is a small kitchenette with coffee and tea making facilities. There is a small 2 burner stove and a microwave. There are nice restaurants nearby. Then there is a neat shower and toilet with sink. Further in the apartment there is a lovely large bedroom with spacious 2 bed 180 x 200 cm
Nature and surroundings
The apartment is located in the heart of the 3 northern provinces. To be precise in the beautiful scenic landscape of southern Westerkwartier in Boerakker in the province of Groningen. It is an ancient area where meadows are mostly surrounded by old tree walls. It is a peaceful area for cycling and walking. The city of Groningen is only 15 minutes away by car, where you can go shopping or sit down in one of the many cozy cafes. The neighboring province of Friesland offers many recreational opportunities such as the Drents Friese Wold in Appelscha. Or the beautiful Lauwersmeer area where the boat to Schiermonnikoog departs from. Drenthe with its forests and all its old history. All this less than half an hour's drive from the apartment. This nature house is located in the middle of the newly realized nature reserve Polder de Dijken. A Valhalla for birdwatchers.
