Nature house in Santa Fiora

The naturehouse is a stone cottage, situated in a poetic landscape of old olive trees, terraces and dry stone walls. The house offers maximum privacy and has a bedroom and bathroom on the first floor and a kitchen on the ground floor. It accommodates 2 people. Behind the house a covered terrace with barbecue in the shade of the old olive trees and unlimited space around. In the summer the antique olive groove covers itself with wild flowers and herbs. The house during the summer is pleasantly cool thanks to the thick stone walls, in winter it is heated by a wood stove.

The Fiora Valley is rich in nature reserves, springs, streams and rich forests and is populated by a wide variety of wildlife. In the neighborhood there are many beautiful medieval villages. Podere di Maggio surrounded by thermal baths such as Saturnia and Bagni San Filippo. The sea with its beautiful beaches and nature reserves can be reached in just over an hour. Siena, Orvieto, Perugia and Assisi are one to one and a half hours away. The entire area of the Amiata is beautiful and authentic and still not known by mass tourism. There is the possibility of having a wonderful bath in the clean water of the river Fiora, in the middle of nature with no one around. The river is at 10 minutes walking from the house.
