Nature house in Castelletto D’Erro

is located in northern Italy, about 1,200 km from Utrecht. This nature house is nestled in the heart of nature, and it’s a wonderful place to go hiking, biking, and visiting charming old Italian villages. The house features a beautiful, large private pool; while swimming, you can look out over the valley and sometimes spot birds of prey flying overhead. The nature house is fully equipped, sleeps 6 people, and stays cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Around the pool and on the lawn, you can sit, lie down, and read a book in complete peace. The house has 3 bedrooms—2 downstairs and 1 upstairs—and 2 separate bathrooms. The upper floors are accessible via the garden. The kitchen is well-equipped, with plenty of space to enjoy a meal, and the living room is spacious. The living room has a TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a wood stove where you can gather for a cozy get-together. In the morning, you can enjoy breakfast on the balcony overlooking the valley; in the evening, you can dine in the garden or by the pool.

The nature house is located on a so-called "white road," where only hikers, e-bike riders, and deer pass by. The area around the house is beautiful, green, and hilly, and you can see the Apennines in the distance. In the evening, you can hear owls and nightjars, and in the summer, you can see fireflies flying at night. The cottage is surrounded by approximately 2 hectares of land, including its own olive and almond orchard. The garden is quite steep. A 5-minute drive away is the village of Castelletto D’Erro; if you drive 5 minutes in the other direction, you’ll reach Bistagno, with bakeries, butchers, and greengrocers. A little further away, a 15-minute drive, lies Acqui Terme, a beautiful town with excellent restaurants. Surrounding Acqui are the famous wine regions of Brachetto d’Acqui and Dolcetto d’Acqui, where the many wineries will welcome you warmly. The area is known for its white truffle, which is found only in the fall, and rumor has it that there are oak trees near the nature house where these mysterious mushrooms grow at their base.
