Our beautiful nature house is located in northern Italy, about 1200 km from Utrecht. Casa Mumu is surrounded by nature and you can enjoy walking, cycling and visiting beautiful old Italian villages. The house has a beautiful large private pool and while swimming you can see the valley and sometimes the birds of prey fly over. The nature house is fully equipped, has room for 6 people, stays cool in summer and warm in winter. Around the pool and in the grass you can sit, lie and very quietly read a book. In the house there are 3 bedrooms, 2 downstairs and 1 upstairs and there are 2 separate bathrooms. The floors are accessible through the garden. The kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of space to eat well, the living room is spacious. In the living room is a TV with a chromecast so you can easily cast your own TV channels via a phone or tablet, there is fast WIFI and a wood stove where you can cozy around it.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a so-called white road, where only hikers, ebikers and deer walk by. The surroundings of the house are beautiful, green, hilly and in the distance you can see the Apennines. In the evening you can hear owls and nightjar, in summer you can see fireflies flying at night. Around the house is about 2 acres of land, with its own olive-almond orchard. The garden is quite steep. A 5-minute drive away is the village of Castelletto D'Erro, drive 5 minutes in the other direction and you come to Bistagno, with bakeries, butchers, greengrocers. A little further on 15 min drive is Acqui Terme, a beautiful town, with excellent restaurants. Around Acqui are famous wine regions of the Brachetto D'Acqui and the Dolcetto D'Acqui, the many wineries welcome you warmly. The area is famous for the white truffle, which is found only in autumn and it is whispered that even around the nature house you can find oak trees with at their base the mysterious mushrooms.
