Nature house in Brgudac

This nature house is a small and cozy house (65 sq m). It offers accommodation for 5 persons and it is situated in the center of the village just in front of the entrance to the famous hiking trails that lead to several locations of the Učka Nature Park. In Brgudac there are also two cycle trails that are well kept and very popular. The house has a patio with a table and benches, free parking lot, 2 air-co for each bedroom, and a fireplace in the living room, an outside patio with a table and benches, free parking lot. The town is a historic place itself - the village of Brgudac on Ćićarija was first mentioned in historical documents in 1420 as Bergodaz. It is located in the northernmost inner area of ​​the Istrian peninsula, in the municipality of Lanišće and is the highest (according to altitude) populated place in the Istria County.

The village is located at the western entrance to the Učka Nature Park, and from the village there is a hiking trail which takes 45 minutes on foot to reach the source of the Korita below Brajkov vrh at 1092m above sea level.Učka Nature Park encompasses Mount Učka and a part of the Ćićarija mountain range, right where Istria meets the continental part of Croatia. Due to its relief and proximity to the sea, the area is characterised by a particular climate and lush forest vegetation. Also important are its rich meadows and other anthropogenic habitats that are home to numerous endemic, threatened and protected plant and animal species.
