Nature house in COUX et BIGAROQUE

Our house is located in the hamlet 'Braguel' less than two kilometers from the river Dordogne, in the middle of the Perigord Noir. The house (with garage and garden of 2500m2) is located on a quiet dead end road where there are two other houses. At the back of the house is a large (covered) terrace from where you can enjoy the tranquility and beautiful views over the hills and the valley. In the morning you can have breakfast in the sun (bakery and store at 1 km). Should the sun be too much for you later in the day, you can enjoy a cool drink in the shade under the trees. And of course the barbecue is not missing! (Supermarket at 3 km). A new swimming pool (from June 2020) and trampoline are available. Of course there is plenty of garden furniture and sunbeds. House has 3 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, playroom and living room with terrace doors.

Many (cultural) trips can be made from the house. Every day there is a market to visit with local delicacies (truffles, foie gras, cheeses, walnuts and fruit) or antiques. Along the river you will find many castles and chateaux (Les Milandes, Beynac, Castelnaud) that are definitely worth a visit. The same definitely applies to the numerous picturesque villages such as Belvès (5 km), Sarlat (20 km) Domme (20 km) or Monpazier (18 km). The old city of Bergerac (38 km) and the surrounding wine region are also pleasant to visit. Prehistoric caves in Les Eyzies (12 km) and Lascaux. Of course, the hilly, green landscape lends itself perfectly to hiking and cycling.
