Nature house in Santa Fiora

Podere di Maggio, an organic farm in a beautiful part of Tuscany; in the south-east, on the slopes of Mount Amiata. Here you can find the Seccatoio, a 60 m2 detached house on two floors, built in stone. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a double bed, on the ground floor a large living room with a spectacular view of the valley and Mount Amiata, a kitchen and a bathroom. Outside there is a terrace with barbecue, shaded by a pergola and a covered terrace from where you can enjoy the sunsets. In summer the house always remains cool thanks to the stone construction, in winter the house is heated with a centralized gas system. Up to 4 people can sleep here; 2 in the bedroom and 2 on a very comfortable sofa bed in the living room, which becomes a double bed or two separate beds. The natural swimming pool for common use is located about 50 m away from the house, but totally out of sight.

The Fiora valley, rich in nature reserves, springs, streams and many uncontaminated woods populated by a vast wildlife. There are numerous beautiful medieval towns of cultural interest nearby. This rural house is located half an hour from the hot springs of Saturnia, Bagni San Filippo and others. The Tyrenian sea with its beautiful beaches and nature reserves can be reached in an hour. The whole area of the south of Tuscany is still authentic and not yet known by mass tourism.
