There is a private green area equipped with umbrella, chairs and garden table, where you can enjoy the tranquility of the place. One can relax in the shade of the trees, watch the starry sky without being distracted, enjoy the company of the cats that live in the farmhouse, read a good book, and reflect on the importance of simplicity and contact with nature without the interference of digital devices. FAUNA AND AVIFAUNA OF LAKE TRASIMENO PARK Protected area: 13,200.00 ha - Special Protection Area - Community Site Area - Natura2000The territory of Lake Trasimeno, a lake of structural tectonic origin, thanks to the great variety of environments, is a wetland of international importance that hosts a rich and diverse animal community. Lake Trasimeno, at about 257 meters above sea level, is the fourth largest lake in Italy in terms of surface area (126 square kilometers), the only large laminar lake, that is, characterized by extremely shallow waters: at the center of the basin they reach a depth of only six and a half meters. FAUNA: Probable nocturnal encounters with foxes, wild boars, fallow deer, roe deer, badgers, porcupines, hedgehogs; very rare encounter with the italic wolf, which has returned to frequent our woods, absolutely not dangerous to humans. AVIFAUNA: From the ornithological point of view Lake Trasimeno is a site of exceptional importance. There are 199 species reported, of which 79 are breeding.
