Nature house in SPIGNANA

This historic farmhouse is a typical stone building found in the high mountains of the Pistoia region. The house has been renovated and equipped with all modern amenities to make it comfortable in both summer and winter. The careful renovation has preserved some original features, such as the large fireplace, the stone walls, and the staircase leading to the upper floor. Local materials such as wooden beams, terracotta, and stone were also used for all the finishes. There are two large kitchens equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, electric oven, and wood-fired oven. Guests can dine outdoors on the shaded veranda or admire the view from the gazebo in front of the Nature House. There are four double bedrooms, one of which includes a single bed, plus two sleeping spots in the large loft, and a crib is available for children up to three years old. Some rooms are decorated with murals created by renowned artisan-artists. There is a sauna room.

The property is surrounded by a large garden, expansive pastures, and centuries-old woods. La Casetta is about 2 km from the historic village of Spignana; the last 600 meters of the route are on a dirt road, which is perfectly safe but should be traveled at a moderate speed. Interesting hiking and mountain biking trails start right from the house, leading along the ridges of the Pistoia and Modena Apennines. In winter, when there is snow, snowshoeing is possible. Sightings of local wildlife are very common.
