This large, cozy house is free on all sides. The house is in the middle of rolling fields on one side, and on the other side a lovely little river, with islands in it, full of rustling trees. Herons, ducks, songbirds and fish. The garden is wild, and shady. Fruit trees. There is a large terrace with outdoor table. The furnishings are brocante, so no sleek luxury, but everything you need is there. Also (children's) books, toys and an old piano! We have a well-equipped kitchen, spacious quiet bedrooms and a sleeping loft, where there is also an extra bathroom. There are 2 toilets, 2 bathrooms (1 with bathtub) and a washing machine. Next to the sleeping loft is a studio. This can be used for yoga, dance, (music) rehearsals or as a play attic for children. There are several cellars under the house, for example a cool "Cave"; another contains gardening equipment, among other things. The bikes sometimes need attention... Anyway: A wonderful house and EVERYONE is WELCOME!
Nature and surroundings
In the hilly, wooded area, while walking, you will encounter deer , sometimes even pigs. The river Serein meanders through the Annay and Perrigny. The house is just beyond, opposite the former water mill. You can hear the waterfall! A little further on is a medieval town, Noyers, wonderfully beautiful, and unspoiled. Chablis is 20 km. away, also very worthwhile! For the Burgundian lover there are cheese, sausage, wine and other delicacies to get (at local markets). You can go cycling, running, hiking, swimming, canoeing, but also visit castles or read a book in the garden. In the village there is a playground for children, a tennis court and a ping pong table. You can also write a book in this quiet house, or rehearse with your music ensemble, or do nothing special for a while ......
