The nature house is a prestigious chalet built with traditional materials from the area - primarily wood and stone - and equipped with every comfort to guarantee its guests a fantastic stay in the Alps and the great pre-Alpine lakes. Located on the Vercio Alp, on the heights of Mergozzo, is equipped with a wood heating system that makes it accessible to visitors in any season. Electricity is guaranteed by a solar panel system and, if necessary, supplemented by a generator. Food can be provided by arrangement with the owner. There are two bathrooms, one of which has a shower.

The Alpe Vercio rises on the hills above the village of Mergozzo, a small town in lower Valdossola. Just over 800 meters above sea level opens a flowery balcony, in the middle of which is placed the Hermitage, a place of worship and prayer. Just under an hour of pleasant trekking separates Alpe Vercio from the ridge that borders the Valgrande National Park, the largest wild area in Europe. There are many excursion possibilities, in an absolutely wild environment of the nature house.
