Nature house in Tao

This nature house is set in one of the most beautifil areas of Lanzarote, within the Natural reserve and excellent views of lanscape, cliffs and sea. The property is very old and has been restored with great care to give guests the feeling of history, comfort and a part of the true Lanzarote. The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 rooms with double beds and 1 with 2 single beds, 2 bathrooms, 1 with a bath and the other with a shower, the lounge has two sofas and chairs with fire place, a spacious kitchen with gas hob and also a wood cooking stove, there is also a large entrance area for dining which also has a piano. The cottage is stone built with wooden ceilings and terracota floors and the decoration is mainly with antique furniture. The house is totally off grid, the water is heated by solor with a gas heating back up system and the general electric powered by the sun with bateries for storage. The overall decoration allows guests to feel relaxed and at home.

This nature house is in a magnificent location, being in the centre of the island and away from any tourist areas, it sits on 5000m2 of land, within the Natural reserve of Los Chinijos, being an area excellent for walking, cycling, painting, photograhpy, bird watching (amongst the many varieties of birds, you can find the Basturd) and just relaxing. There is a secluded rockery garden with all kinds of plants and is ideal for sunbathing and great from here to observe the stars on a clear night There are also various seating areas around the grounds, also there is a gas fired Barbecue The views are of the open landscape and on through to the cliffs of Famara, the sea and the islands of La Graciosa, Montaña Clara and Alegranza. The property is 500 metres from the last house of the village and 15 minutes by car to the sea. The nearest supermarket is a 5 minute drive away and within 15 minutes you have a good selection of local restaurants, including El Monumento Del Campesina.
