Located in a mid-mountain environment, the environmental and conservation values of the native forest stand out, included in Rede Natura 2000. Due to its isolation, it is an area where you can find relatively wild landscapes and species of high ecological value, such as those associated with peat bogs and Atlantic rainforest. This area of transition from the Atlantic coast (30km away) and at altitudes between 600m and 1000m, have different hiking trails and visits to waterfalls, natural pools or mountain traverses. We work for the conservation of natural and ethnographic heritage and we offer information to discover the values of our environment of Serra do Suido, selected as one of the 100 Cultural Landscapes of Spain in relation to the European Landscape Convention of the Council of Europe, valuing the landscape as a contribution to the development of local cultures and representing a fundamental part of the cultural and natural heritage of Europe,
