This nature house is located in a corner of authentic France, right in the heart of the Creuse. The 19th-century farmhouse sits on a 1.5-hectare property. The main house was renovated in 2000 with respect for the local architectural style dating back to 1800.Three rooms are available in the main house. It’s always a pleasure to meet new people at the long family table during breakfast (included) or dinner. Our dishes are prepared as much as possible with organic ingredients and local products. In the center of our garden stands a large, 400-year-old oak tree. The property has plenty of quiet spots where you can retreat, whether as a couple or on your own, to enjoy a book or simply do nothing. Let yourself be surprised every day by the hundreds of birds and the beautiful views, and drift off into a peaceful reverie. Atelier Têtu offers you the chance to truly turn inward through ceramics right on the property.
Nature and surroundings
The green countryside at the foot of the Massif Central is characterized by rolling ridges, interspersed with views of meadows and deep valleys. In our town of Saint-Dizier-Masbaraud, you can spend hours hiking through the natural landscape. The Thaurion River winds its way through our region and offers beautiful spots to relax along its banks. The Creuse is known for its unspoiled beauty, where there is room for nature, culture, and authenticity—hallmarks of the French way of life. The surrounding villages offer something for everyone, from historic sites to nature parks. In the Limousin region, you can fill your stay with plenty of fun activities. For example, you can visit the Chabrières Wolf Park or go canoeing on Lake Vassivière. Those who prefer to avoid the hustle and bustle can come to this unspoiled area to find peace, recharge, and simply enjoy the silence and nature.
