Nature house in Dignano - Serravalle del Chienti

From the cottage you can already make beautiful walks, but if you drive 15 km one way then you can also make beautiful walks from there. It is very quiet on the road, Le Marche is not yet overrun by tourists. Cycling is also a possibility given the low traffic.

Vanaf het huisje kun je al mooie wandelingen maken, maar als je 15 km een kant oprijdt dan kun je vandaaruit ook weer mooie wandelingen maken. Het is erg rustig onderweg, Le Marche wordt nog niet overlopen door toeristen. Fietsen behoort ook tot de mogelijkheden gezien het geringe verkeer.

We spent a week in the cottage of Cecelia and Federica. It is a spacious house with everything you need. It was built by the hosts' father and has a specific style, paying attention to earthquake resistance. You can also sit outside in your private garden. Because it is a bit higher up, it is a lot more pleasant than in the city. It is in a quiet place where you have a beautiful concert of bird sounds every morning and evening, such as the fire goldcrest, nightingale, chiffchaff, song thrush, europede canary, blackhead, etc. And in the evening for the first time in years we saw fireflies.On the way you also hear and see many birds, fields full of flowers and lots of butterflies.From Dignano you can also easily visit nice towns in Umbria such as Foligno.Our hostess was very nice, had nice and interesting tips such as a restaurant of three tables where two sisters are in charge and places where you can buy local products.

Wij hebben een week in het huisje van Cecelia en Federica doorgebracht. Het is een ruim huis met alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt. Het is gebouwd door de vader van de gastvrouwen en heeft een specifieke stijl, met aandacht voor de aardbevingsbestendigheid. Je kunt er ook heerlijk buiten zitten in je privétuin. Omdat het wat hoger ligt is het een stuk aangenamer dan in de stad.
Het ligt op een rustige plek waar je elke ochtend en avond een prachtig concert hebt van vogelgeluiden, zoals de vuurgoudhaan, nachtegaal, tjiftjaf, zanglijster, europede kanarie, zwartkop, enz. En ’s avonds voor het eerst sinds jaren weer vuurvliegjes gezien.
Onderweg hoor en zie je ook weer veel vogels, velden vol bloemen en erg veel vlinders.
Vanuit Dignano kun je ook makkelijk leuke stadjes bezoeken in Umbrië zoals Foligno.
Onze gastvrouw was erg aardig, had leuke en interessante tips zoals een restaurantje van drie tafels waar twee zussen de scepter zwaaien en plaatsen waar je lokale producten kunt kopen.

Cecilia and Federica's house is cozy and well-structured, with a large living room with kitchen, and a lovely private garden with a small table and umbrella, great for appreciating the setting right from breakfast.
The location of the house makes it easy to reach the historic centers of Umbria and Marche. The small village of Dignano, during our summer stay, offered an excellent festival of typical products. The hostess was kind, welcoming and willing to give us her support, while remaining discreet. We highly recommend this house!

La casa di Cecilia e Federica è accogliente e ben strutturata, dotata di un ampio soggiorno con cucina, e un grazioso giardino privato con tavolino e ombrellone, ottimi per apprezzare il contesto già dalla colazione.
La posizione della casa permette di raggiungere i centri storici umbri e marchigiani comodamente. Il piccolo paese di Dignano, durante la nostra permanenza estiva, ha offerto un'ottima sagra di prodotti tipici.
La padrona di casa è stata gentile, accogliente e disponibile a darci il suo supporto, pur rimanendo discreta.

Because the house is literally surrounded by greenery, contact with nature is close. In fact, it was possible to undertake walks in the woods and hills around the house with ease.
The nearby hamlet of Vodnjan is small, so light pollution is very limited.

Essendo la casa immersa letteralmente nel verde, il contatto con la natura è ravvicinato. Infatti è stato possibile intraprendere con facilità passeggiate nei boschi e nelle colline attorno la casa.
La frazione di Dignano vicina è piccola e quindi l'inquinamento luminoso è molto limitato.
