Our naturehouses have been developed from a former corps de ferme in a little quiet hamlet that is perched high above the Viaur Gorge. It consists of three stone cottages renovated from farm buildings and farm houses all sited around a pebbled courtyard. A grassy area stretches down to the large swimming pool with great views across the gorge. Each house has a fully fitted kitchen, sitting room, shower room and bathroom and makes for an excellent location for extended families or groups of friends. We are able to put tables together in Bleuet gite so that a larger group can eat inside and we can set up a tented outdoor space in the courtyard so the whole party can eat together outside. We are always happy to have large groups but are not suitable for loud parties which carry on late into the night as we live on site and we have elderly neighbours.

Nature and surroundings

We are in the middle of beautiful french countryside which has both farming and woodland. There are walks straight from the property where you can discover the local gorge with its hidden chapel or visit the botanical walk in the gorge below. Deer roam the area and all sorts of birds including eagles, buzzards and peregrine falcons. The wildflowers are abundant especially in the spring and early summer and the colours in the autumn have to be seen.
