Nature house in Echandelys

This nature house is a particularly charming and quiet detached farmhouse on the edge of the grounds of a small hamlet. It is part of Domaine Le Vertige, B&B and nature campsite. The house has recently been renovated and consists of a spacious living room (38 m2) and fully equipped kitchen with as atmospheric centerpiece the century-old fireplace with wood stove. On the ground floor is the bathroom with shower and toilet and a large utility room. On the second floor are 3 bedrooms and a second toilet. The bedrooms all have a window with beautiful views. It is lovely to eat or laze under the trees in the large private fruit orchard. From the house you walk along a dead end road directly to the woods and fields with its beautiful vistas. You can use the facilities of Le Vertige in high season, such as the highly appreciated table d'hôtes, fire pit, table tennis, bread service and brocante. Wifi is available.

Les Jonquilles is located in the middle of France, in Auvergne, in one of the largest natural parks of France, Livradois-Forez. A vast area with walking and cycling routes and authentic villages. The house is located 800 m from the village center of Echandelys, the village has a cafe and a church. From your cottage you can make day trips to the cities of Puy en Velay, Chaise Dieux, Issoire, Ambert, Clermont Ferrand and of course the volcanoes. On weekends, there are flea markets every Sunday with their old-French atmosphere. A 15-minute drive away there are swimming lakes, a golf course and an adventure park. And at night...... the starry skies.
