Sleeping in a tipi is very special - the tip of tipi is high above you, and you experience a sense of space, peace and nature. Each tipi has four super comfortable single beds. You can make a campfire outside on a public fire pit or you can rent a fire bowl.Amenities: - electricity/lighting - 4x luxury single beds (90x200) - bring your own bedding/sleeping bag/pillow - 4x camping chairs - own outdoor kitchen with refrigerator, 4-burner stove and kitchen inventory - picnic table - suitable for 4 people, for an additional fee 5th person is allowed (bring your own mat) - pets are allowed - you use the toilet building (heated)
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is a place to slow down while enjoying a friendly atmosphere. A small-scale campsite in the Belgian Ardennes where you can relax in nature. You feel like being abroad, while you are already there after about a two and a half hour drive from Utrecht or about two hours from Antwerp and Brussels. You can camp with us or stay in one of our tents or cabins. The campsite is located directly on the Amblève river, in the province of Liège. The atmosphere is relaxed, slightly alternative and cozy, with attention to peace and quiet. No busy program, no swimming pool and no tightly raked pitches, but a natural environment with character. You can make fires and paddle in the river. The fairytale walk of the Ninglispo is within walking distance and several walks start from the campsite.

Nature, peace & environment:Ontzettend mooie omgeving

Katrijn August 13, 2021 General rating:Wij zijn tevreden over ons verblijf. Er kunnen nog enkele aanpassingen gebeuren om de tipi's terug in perfecte staat te brengen (behandeling tegen schimmels en versteviging van de vloer door overstroming). Binnen in de tipi zijn de electra en kleine koelkast in prima staat.
Nature, peace & environment:De tipi's liggen in een uithoek van de camping, dus je hebt er weinig passage. Ze liggen op korte wandelafstand van de Amblève. Ze zijn hersteld na de overstroming van dit jaar. Het waterniveau is zichtbaar op de tent. Er is hard gewerkt om de camping weer operationeel te maken. Wij hadden alleen wifi-bereik aan de receptie. Ons netwerk kwam niet tot in het dal. Dus even afgezonderd van internet en telefonie. Ook dat brengt rust. Campinguitbaters zijn heel relaxed. 1 keer lekker ontbijt genomen en het sanitair wordt dagelijks grondig gepoetst. Momenteel nog herstel van de weg naar Nonceveux, maar de camping is bereikbaar.
